Editors 2012
A group of Emmy nominated editors(2012) talked about their craft at the Egyptian Theatre on Sept 9th presented by the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences Editors Peer Group. The panel was moderated by Shawn Ryan (currently co-creator and EP of Last Resort: airs on ABC).
They gave advice and pointers as well to the attendees. They talked about their team's contribution to editing of the show that they were nominated for.

Los Angeles premiere of Butch Walker: Out of Focus was at the Mann's Chinese Theatre on Thursday July 19th, 2012. It is a documentary film by Peter Harding & Shane Valdes: starring Butch Walker and the Black Widows, produced by Salome Breziner, Jonathan Daniel & Shane Valdes, Edited by Peter Harding and music by Andrea Von Foerster.
The story was well told and there was a magical quality to the film. And the music was beautiful.

A Highlight of David In LA creators: David House, Freddie DeLaVega, & Farand Heydari at the New Media Film Festival Red Carpet.
DILA is an action adventure web series filled with dashes of humor. They have three episodes out of the 10 episodes they want to do. The third episode was an official selection of the New Media Film Festival and screened on June 13th, 2012 at Landmark Cinemas. The cinematic style and the visual effects enhances the story-line. The three creators who work in the Hollywood entertainment Industry got together because they wanted to tell a story of their own. All three are producers and writers of the show. David House is also a director and a musician. Freddie DeLaVega is an editor as well as an actor. And Farand Heydari is a filmmaker. Razzies April Fools Day Show
2012 Golden Raspberry Awards(Razzies 2012) were held on Sunday April 1st, 2012 at the Magicopolis in Santa Monica, CA. Actress Thushari Jayasekera was announced as the "newest Razzie cast member" by John B. Wilson. The talented presenters, alos, included Avery Clyde, Paula Einstein, Kelie McIver, Allen Rueckert, Glenn Simon and John Wilson.
*Adam Sandler set a record by winning all the award.

Producer's Guild Walk-A-Thon
Producers Guild of America Held a Walk-A-Thon Honoring Laura Ziskin on Saturday March 3rd, 2012.
The Walk-A-Thon was a tribute to the legendary producer and her work in our industry and her humanitarian efforts in working to shape a patient-centric vision for cancer treatment. The walk was held March 3rd, on Laura's birthday. For all that knew her it was an opportunity to remember, an opportunity to give and most of all an opportunity to celebrate an individual who had an enormous impact on the entertainment industry and the Producer's Guild.

Golden Razzberry founders held the Razzie Awards nomination ceremony at the Magicopolis in Santa Monica, CA. The presentation of nominees were well written and humor filled.
